well, i asked my friend prompto to take a picture of me. he has one of those camera things that takes still shots and then it comes out on shiny paper technically my dad asked if i would get one for him already so it's not THAT out there but i want to fit it into a locket so he can keep it all the time, i'm just not sure how to do it without messing up the picture and i need to find one with a good design to put it in. you're good at that kind of thing... design and jewelry and all that
A locket would be a lovely idea. I have no doubt your father would be thrilled.
Do you have the photograph already? If he's as experienced as I believe him to be, your portrait should be of appropriate locket sizing. All you would have to do is cut out your face.
The design is what requires great thought... You are known to have a wolf motif, so perhaps an engraving of a wolf's head to remind him of you even when the locket is closed. Initials are another option, and could serve as interest for the back.
oh, yeah... a wolf! should i do it like mine, or like the one he wears? and well i've only got the one name, but maybe an L in fancy handwriting or something? someone around here has to be good at that kind of thing.
see, this is why i asked you. i don't really know anything about this kind of stuff.
In my honest opinion, I believe he would prefer your wolf motif to his. The point is for him to think of you when he looks at it.
[Right. The last name thing. How could he forget?]
An 'L' would be suitable, or perhaps you might include your initial, your father's, and that of your mother. A token of your familial love for one another.
Well, given a lack of accessories was the least of your issues on Dahna... maybe that's something we can work on together.
good point. ok, cool, i already have a template thing i gave the blacksmith in tikal for engraving my gear with the wolf, would that work? he did pretty good getting it on my bracer the the one that got eaten by the wyvern [ deadeyes ] i'll just bring the thingy with me.
i wouldn't mind uh "accessorizing" now i guess. did i tell you i was thinking about getting some tattoos done? that's kinda different, but i'd bet you have a good eye for that kind of thing too.
[ besides everything? he barely even wears clothes ]
i uh i don't remember if i mentioned it to him or not. it's not like he'd mind though, a bunch of the guys in the crows had tattoos. at least i won't be stupid like grenar and get a literal crimson crow on my arm like i'm trying to advertise to the whole world what i'm about... i still can't believe i really saw that. what an idiot.

[Or Law can call him 'mom, considering he's boning down his fath--]
I think he was hoping you would visit, but other than that... I doubt he has any idea what either of us have in store for him.
What did you get him? Of course I'll assist in any way I can. I'm never too busy for family.

At some point we must also complete your wardrobe.
[Shopping trip? Shopping trip!]
Oh my. Tattoos...a bold choice. Does your father know?
I find tattoos quite interesting in both concept and practice, but I'm not certain he would be pleased if I assisted you in such a permanent venture.

Now that you mention it... he really did have that tattoo. I thought him very brave, but upon second thought it was actually very stupid.
If your father is alright with it, then of course I will help. Art is art no matter the canvas.
